Coffee and Cream Agar Jelly (Thach Ca Phe)

Another way to get that needed caffeine fix! We layer coffee and cream to make a beautiful multi-layered jelly dessert. It’s delicious and fun to eat! Here’s a great dessert to round out that delicious summer meal or enjoy on a hot day. Please give it a try!

1 packet agar agar powder (25 grams or approximately 2 Tbsp, I use Thai Telephone brand)
5 1/4 cups water
1 cup sugar (add more if you like it sweeter)

For the Coffee Layer:
4 tsp instant coffee (I use 2 packets of Starbucks Via)
1/4 cup hot water
3/4 cup water

For the Cream Layer:
1/4 cup half and half (2 Tbsp cream + 2 Tbsp milk)
3 heaping Tbsp coconut cream (this is the top portion of canned coconut milk)
1/2 cup water

For Ice Bath:
4 cups ice
2 cups water

Yields: 12 servings

Lớp thạch cà phê:
4 m. cà phê bột – (tôi dùng 2 gói của Starbucks Via)
60 ml nước nóng
180 ml nước lạnh

Lớp màu trắng:
60 ml sửa Half and half (sửa tươi có 12%chất béo)
3 m. canh hơi đầy nước cốt dừa (lấy phần trên đặc phía trên lon nước cốt dừa).
120 ml nước lạnh

Phần nước đá lạnh
4 ly nước đá cục
480 ml nước lạnh

Cho: 12 phần ăn
